Rentals Cancellation Policy Overview:

*Important note: This policy only applies to our rental services.

At Toronto Patio Heater, we understand that plans can change. To accommodate our customers while ensuring the availability of our rental services, we have outlined the following cancellation policy. This policy ensures fairness for both parties and allows us to manage our resources efficiently. Please review the policy carefully before making any changes to your booking.

• Cancellation 10 or more days before your event:
  • If you cancel 10 or more days prior to your event, you are entitled to a full refund, minus a 5% cancellation fee. This small fee (calculated on the total after tax) helps cover the administrative costs incurred when processing your booking and cancellation. This option gives you the flexibility to change plans with minimal financial impact.
• Cancellation 48 hours before your event:
  • If you need to cancel before 48 hours of your event, you will receive a refund, but it will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee (calculated on the total after tax). This fee reflects the preparation and resources already allocated to your booking, including holding your rental items in reserve.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before your event:
  • For cancellations made less than 48 hours before your event, a 50% cancellation fee will apply (calculated on the total after tax). By this point, we will have dedicated considerable time and resources to preparing for your booking, which makes last-minute changes more costly.
• Cancellation on the same day as your scheduled booking/delivery:
  • Unfortunately, cancellations made on the same day as your scheduled booking or delivery are non-refundable. On the day of your booking, we have already dispatched staff and equipment, leaving little opportunity to reallocate these resources.
